Thankful, Thankful, Thankful

Hey Beloved

I know that Thanksgiving is around the corner and this is the time for us to be thankful, but I feel that we should be thankful everyday.  The way I see it, I make a list sometimes just in my head about what I am thankful for.  As an abuse, heart and cancer survivor as well as a parent of a special needs daughter, I am grateful for everything. Just waking up in the morning, being able to move my body, open my eyes to see, able to hear is such a blessing. Being next to my husband in bed and knowing how much he loves me is a dream come true.  Our purpose in life is having a relationship with God which is number one and drawing more people to Christ.  Understanding that God sent His only son to die for our sins, should make us feel thankful.  When you make a list of the things that you are thankful for, you may be surprised at how big your list will be.  Make sure and only list the things that don’t cost anything, because the price has already been paid.  Just start counting your blessings list them one by one and praise the Lord for loving you enough that you have more than you can imagine.  I have come a long way in feeling blessed in life for the little things and not taking anything for granted, but I pray that you don’t have to have an illness or death to be thankful. My prayer for you is that you start now making that list it can change your purpose in life, little becomes much when you trust it in the master’s hand,

Your sister in Christ
